Policies & Expectations
There are some requirements for students who want to join Choir. Please read over these requirements carefully and let Ms. Featherston know if you have any questions or concerns.
Students must show a desire to be in Choir by attending and behaving appropriately during rehearsals and performances.
A Choir Member will be dismissed from Choir if there is an excessive number of absences or if the student exhibits unacceptable behavior during rehearsals or performances.
Students must be dropped off on time.
Rehearsals start at 7:30 on the dot.
Students are required to attend all concerts during the school year unless prior arrangements have been made with Ms. Featherston.

During performances and special Choir events, Choir members will be required to wear their Choir uniform, unless stated otherwise by Ms. Featherston.
The uniform consists of:
Oak Park-Carpenter Choir t-shirt
Blue jeans
Jeans may not have holes, rips, and/or tears
Casual shoes
Nice shoes may be worn, but are not required
Please no flip flops, Crocs, or high heels
All updates, information, etc. will be sent via text. Parents/guardians of Choir Members will receive texts via Remind101.
At least one parent/guardian MUST be signed up for text notifications. Any parent, guardian, or student can join our texts.
